Use CFLs that are specifically made for your dimmable lights. Dimmable CFLs do not work exactly like incandescent dimmable bulbs. Dimmable CFLs typically dim down to approximately 20 percent of their full light output. It may be worth buying one to try out or asking for a demonstration from your retailer to see if you like them.
