Efficiency Vermont is working all across Vermont with local communities to reduce their energy use through efficiency. Many towns have set ambitious goals to reduce their energy usage.
One of the largest community-focused campaigns that Efficiency Vermont is helping to support is called the "Targeted Lighting Campaign". This campaign includes eight communities across the state with a goal to swap out 300,000 incandescent lightbulbs with 300,000 compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFL's). The eight participating communities are as follows:
Arlington
Colchester
Essex
Londonderry
Milton
Newport
St. Albans
Winooski
